STARR TALK Episode #3: Hillary Miller & Kris Thor

Welcome to Starr Talk, a new series of interviews with our Season artists recorded during their residencies upstate at Hubbard Hall.

Episode #3 is a conversation with artists Hillary Miller and Kris Thor, recorded in their AirBnB at the end of their Hubbard Hall residency for Preparedness, written by Hillary and directed by Kris. You’ll hear about the show, and the deep dramaturgical work they ended up doing during their residency after adjusting plans due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Other topics include Kris and Hillary’s unique backgrounds in teaching theater, how the play’s themes somewhat relate to this moment with the virus, and multigenerational music sharing. Enjoy!
